The Roach Approach
Images with texture, intense colour grades, heavily effected, distressed, Lo-fi, fast cutting, hyperactive movement… videos that aren’t out of the box, they’re out of the attic.
Give us your money and we’ll produce something a bit twisted, probably dark and it may get banned, or never shown due to strobe lighting LOL. But either way we have spent years getting something out of nothing. Some of our finest videos have been shot with a dinner money budget and our larger projects have even seen us pull the dead out of the ground.
We don’t just do music videos, there are a million other ways that you can promote yourselves. Bands are finding it harder to sell just a single cd, where a double disc featuring dvd is seen as a much better purchase - this is where Roach step in. We’ve worked closely with the music industry for the majority of our careers and we’ve supplied all kinds of promotion from documentaries, live performances, interviews, virals and even video podcasts.
But its also important at this point for us to let you know about the other things we do, we’re not just a specialist for the music industry, we all come from a film background and still hold that passion close to our little roach hearts. Let’s do the list: Broadcast Production, Web Virals & Advertising, Documentary and Film Production, Idiot Rock, and yeah, pretty much everything else… if its video, use Das Roach Technik wisely and you will win
Look at our videos… below here… yeah. Sexy time. Ow wee ooohhh….. giggady

Just when you thought it was safe to walk the streets not smelling like a festival toilet after a solid night of teeth clenching water bottle draining dance heads have had their wicked way with you, check out the new video for our friends over at Organised Mess. Jester Jacobs gets up to his usual shit in this stonker from his Mental Disorder album, and as usual we spent low so the boys can all have christmas presents this year. We’d like to point out that those are orginal super soakers from 1996 so as usual with Roach, you get the GENUINE. Have a watch, see how you feel, cause we can tell you that this video won’t make you feel like you wasted 3 minutes of your life. That’s a Roachy PROMISE.

Track: I Hate This, Do You Like It?
Label: Brew Records
As an experiment to the limits you can take a £1000 budget, Roach took a break from the trend and allowed an outsider to direct this beast of a video. With over 200 participants in the video it was a long, hard journey but with the band happier then pigs in a sewage spillage, another green tick in the box for Roach.

This video was shot on a budget of £200 which used to develop the concept of a fake moon landing. Inspired by Spike Jonez, with the personalities of Chickenhawk, this parody of the US moon landing has been designed to carry the same pace and intensity as the track whilst being pure video entertainment.

When some production companies say they did a video on NO money. They are normally playing down the six hundred quid they blew on the set and lighting - but, I assure you. This video had NOTHING. We were contacted by wintermute to make a video within a week, they had one night to shoot it and wanted something slightly more then a pretty looking performance video. So we got the location, the crew and the extras at a moments notice and shot it.
